Our History - 1994 to the Present

Our story began in the mid-1990s in 2COW's first studio, an old caravan parked near the Casino Meatworks.  The station only aired for a couple of days a week at the start, steadily increasing our presence until a 'full' licence was awarded nine years later.

Casino's community radio station still operates with a completely voluntary workforce, now broadcasting all day everyday, '24/7'.

Much of our story has been recorded along the way, by our dedicated crew and in other local media.  Some of those clippings are included here, with photos by our volunteers and others.
